Case: Following the entry into force of Order No. 163 of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated 19 March 2021, specialists of law firm VINCO’S began actively filing information on the ownership structure and ultimate beneficial owners of legal entities.
Challenges:
We remind you that the aforementioned Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine requires every legal entity registered in Ukraine to disclose its ownership structure and information on ultimate beneficial owners. Failure to submit or untimely submission to the state registrar of information on ultimate beneficial owners exposes the head (authorized person) of the legal entity to an administrative fine of UAH 17,000 to 51,000.
Result:
Disclosure of information is carried out both as a separate procedure and when amending the information contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations.
